First stop Pier2/3 where the building is so fab it is hard to drag yourself away from the wonderful timber structure. There are 3 works here and my favourite was
The Murder of Crows sound installation by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. It was at times haunitng, funny, soft, loud, and the sound quality in that vast space was wonderful. You sat on chairs and were surrounded by speakers on chairs as well as above and further away. The ultimate in SURROUND SOUND. This configuration is described in the catalogue as a "minimalist flock".
